Previous Professional Experience with Companies such as:
Virtual Analytics Limited is a start-up company providing direct/indirect services for the Global AEC & Life Sciences industry. The company was established to provide independent SME support to clients and Engineering companies. Virtual Analytics provides designs, advice, guidance, and peer reviews on aspects of the product, material, waste & personnel flows for cGMP-designed facilities.
In conjunction with these services, we can provide layout simulation modeling on Front End studies within a range of manufacturing industries with our specialist in-house software. A key benefit of simulational modeling allows stakeholders to make informed decisions and optimizations via analytical data in a risk-free environment (prior to BIM/Detailed Design) where processes & functionality can be witnessed.
Ian Walsh Director of Virtual Analytics has over 25yrs experience in the Global AEC industry. Is a registered member of the RIAI (Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland), RIBA & ARB (UK). His academic qualifications include Certificate in Construction Technology, Project Management, BA in Pharmaceutical Science, and Certificate in Biological Pharmaceutical science.

Process architecture refers to the design and organization of business processes within an organization. It involves identifying, analyzing layouts and optimizing the processes that are critical to achieving an organization’s goals. Process architecture can help companies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and increase agility. It is a key component in process improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, and BPM (Business Process Management).
An efficient process architecture should be aligned with the overall business strategy, and designed to support the organization’s goals and objectives. It should also be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. Our approach to process architecture includes process mapping, process modeling, process simulation, and process optimization to help organizations to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
Simulation & Data Analytics
Simulation and data analytics are important tools in understanding and predicting real-world systems. Simulation allows for the modeling of complex systems and scenarios in a controlled environment, while data analytics involves the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data. Together, these techniques can be used to optimize processes, identify patterns and trends, and make informed decisions. In various fields such as pharmaceutical, manufacturing, finance, healthcare, and logistics, simulation and data analytics are used to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive innovation.
Subject Matter Expert
As a Subject Matter Expert in GMP pharmaceutical layouts, we specialize in providing feasibility and concept studies, cleanroom designs, and tendering architectural construction packages. We have extensive knowledge and experience in the field of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the pharmaceutical industry. Our services include conducting site assessments, creating layouts and designs that meet regulatory requirements, and providing detailed construction packages for tendering and implementation.
Our team of experts has a deep understanding of the specific requirements for GMP cleanrooms and other controlled environments, and can provide guidance on materials, equipment, and systems that are suitable for these environments. We also conduct feasibility and concept studies to assess the potential of a site and to ensure that the design can be implemented within the available resources.
We provide tendering architectural construction packages, which include detailed drawings, specifications and schedules, to ensure that the construction process is smooth, and that the end-result meets all regulatory requirements and is in line with GMP standards.
